She feels his movement at the same time the sound of his breathing changes and she knows from those two things he's either awake or on the verge of it. She shifts carefully, glancing at him over her shoulder and sure enough his eyes are starting to open.

"Morning," she says, voice hushed so as not to startle him anymore than she imagines he might be considering sleeping side by side isn't something they normally do. Sure, back in the beginning, when Sophia was missing and even after that until they found the prison, they tended to land near one another at night, but not quite like this either.

Her left arm is asleep from laying on it and she grimaces, slowly sitting up and yawning.
