Carol finds herself holding her breath at his response and she presses her lips together. For one horrible, terrible moment it's a struggle to keep the secret she's been harboring for so many months about what happened when she was away from most of the group. But that truth is something Daryl doesn't need to carry. It's something no one else needs to carry.
